Kim is passionate about helping clients achieve excellence in operations and the provision of care. Having led sizable performance improvement projects and held a number of executive leadership positions in large, integrated healthcare systems, Kim is well versed in working with administrators, providers, and other key stakeholders to solve complex problems and execute transformational initiatives. One of her greatest strengths is pulling together teams, building consensus, and leading the implementation of new and improved operational and care delivery processes, particularly under alternative payment models.
Kim has achieved tangible results for multiple ECG clients. This has included implementing new clinical workflows to achieve $15 million in pay-for-performance incentive reimbursement tied to patient safety, harm avoidance, and readmission quality metrics at a comprehensive academic medical system in the Southeast. For another project, Kim helped a 60‑bed independent acute care hospital with an ambulatory organization of over 100 providers in the Northeast realize a $9.5 million margin improvement and expand capacity to achieve a 19.3% increase in net patient revenue within one budget year to exceed bond covenant requirements. She also recently led a team that identified and implemented $13 million in margin-enhancing opportunities related to sales and intake functions, workforce management, vendor contract management, and information technology and analytics to improve the financial performance of a large post-acute health system in South Florida from a negative EBITDA of $500,000 per month to a positive EBITDA within eight months.
